Built on the ridge that is home to the bustling town of Berlin, you’ll still feel the peace and comfort that Carlisle Inns are known for. Located on quiet North Market Street, the wide porches of this inn are the perfect place to wrao up your busy day and enjoy the sweeping view of Amish farms in the valley below.

Because of its ideal central location, you’ll also be just a few miles away from all the attractions of Ohio’s Amish Country. Berlin’s popular shopping district is within walking distance and within easy driving distance is a multitude of furniture shops, gift and specialty stores, eateries, bakeries and activities for the whole family.

Victorian-styled lodging

In the tradition of Carlisle Inn, seven graciously appointed guest rooms await your arrival. Like our other inns, you’ll find each room has its own unique style and color palette with fine Victorian details such as lace curtains and four-poster cherry beds.

The quaint setting is that of a home away from home, although each of our seven guest rooms has an outdoor entrance. With its more intimate setting, Carlisle Country Inn Berlin is an ideal location for family retreats. Deluxe rooms have a Jacuzzi tub and one suite has a spacious living area, fully-equipped Kitchen and extra bedroom.

In keeping with its past as a Bed and Breakfast, the common areas feature a flat screen TV, a collection of DVDs and comfortable couches for lounging.

What's for Breakfast

Although breakfast is no longer provided on site, complimentary hot breakfast of eggs, mush, pancakes and more is available at our nearby restaurant, Berlin Farmstead, from 7am to 10:30am. Enjoy a hearty breakfast from their Breakfast Buffet to begin your day.

An evening snack of cookies and beverage is served until 9pm each night, while complimentary coffee, tea and juice will be provided in the morning.

Vacation Rental

An ideal spot for your reunions, retreats or girls' getaway weekend, rent the entire inn as a Vacation Rental. You'll have the privacy your group needs with a convenient location just north of the Town Square in Berlin.
