Housed in a charming Victorian home where comfortable rocking chairs beckon visitors, the Coblentz Chocolate Company is a destination for locals and visitors to Ohio’s Amish Country.

More than 60,000 pounds are produced annually at the family-owned business that has a second retail location at Berlin.

A viewing gallery makes it possible for guests to see firsthand how the dedicated staff makes chocolates and other sweet treats the old-fashioned way. All chocolates are created using recipes from generations long ago. Confectioners start from scratch to create chocolates and candies that will quickly become an affordable luxury you’ll crave often.

In the shop meticulously maintained glass cases are fully stocked with milk and dark chocolates, chocolate covered cherries, rich white chocolates, Buckeyes, cream-filled, caramels, clusters, truffles and snappers. Sugar-free varieties as well as items unique to Coblentz are made daily.

Gourmet coffees and teas are available in the gift shop along with stylish jewelry, handbags and unique items for the home some of which are made by local artisans.
