First Federal Community Bank is announcing the addition of Kelly Fortney as vice president, chief information officer and strategic projects manager, and Jim Marks as Berlin Financial Center manager.

Fortney joins First Federal with over 30 years of community banking experience serving in executive management, accounting and technology-related roles. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems, she will be responsible for project and vendor management, asset acquisition and efficiency initiatives as they relate to the bank’s technology, communications, information systems and services. She has also served in past volunteer board of director roles with the Coshocton County United Way, Coshocton County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Health Services and Hospice of Coshocton.

Marks also joins the First Federal team as an experienced banking professional, with 20 years of service with community and regional banking institutions. He will be responsible for educating current and potential customers on solutions to their financial needs, developing relationships in the eastern Holmes County community and leading his team of customer relationship associates. Marks has served in the past with several Tuscarawas County organizations such as the New Philadelphia Business and Community Association and is currently a member with the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce and the Berlin Main Street Merchants.
