Keim celebrating customers April 5-10
This spring Keim’s Customer Appreciation Days will be celebrated all week, rather than an extended weekend. Formerly the Anniversary Sale, Customer Appreciation Days will take place April 5-10 at the company’s Charm location.
This spring Keim’s Customer Appreciation Days will be celebrated all week, rather than an extended weekend. Formerly the Anniversary Sale, Customer Appreciation Days will take place April 5-10 at the company’s Charm location.
Some things have changed, but one thing remains: the appreciation for its customers.
“We hope the week-long schedule allows more customers to enjoy the event at their own pace,” said Abe Troyer, executive director of sales at Keim.
The new schedule also will reduce crowds and lead to a better shopping experience.
Customers can expect 12% off all stock items within the following departments: exotic woodshed, flooring, hardware, tools, paint, housewares, lawn and garden, plumbing, and electrical. Some categories can be special ordered at sale price within these departments.
Parting from previous tradition, this year lumber and building materials will not be on sale because of the difficulty of keeping them in stock. Keim is currently supporting many projects, from small renovations to home builds.
“We are committed to delivering high-quality product on time to keep these projects moving. Running a sale would make it difficult to honor our existing commitments,” Troyer said.
Troyer encouraged those with new project ideas to continue to contact Keim.
Out of a high regard for the health and safety of all in attendance, Keim will celebrate with food trucks outside during the event, rather than the pancake and sausage breakfast of previous years.
“This past year has shown us that our community is as resilient as they come,” said Jim Smucker, Keim president. “They have supported us through it all, and now is our chance to give back.”
Keim will offer more prizes and giveaways than ever. All customers will receive a ticket upon arrival to be entered into a drawing. Additional tickets can be earned in other ways. Prizes are as follows:
—Several $100 gift cards will be awarded throughout each day.
—A $1,000 gift card will be awarded at the end of each day.
—A $5,000 gift card will be awarded at the end of the event.
