During Holy Week, March 24-30, United Methodist Church will hold free noon concerts Monday through Wednesday in addition to services on Thursday and Sunday.

                        

Wooster United Methodist Church, located at 243 N. Market St. in Wooster, has a number of events scheduled for Holy Week (March 24-30).

Noon concerts

Free concerts will be held March 25-27 in the church sanctuary, featuring area musicians and WUMC organist Steve Gerber. The concerts will begin at noon and last approximately a half-hour.

—Monday, March 25: Steve Gerber with Mary-Marie Deauclaire, organ and piano.

—Tuesday, March 26: Tom and Susan Shaw, organ/piano and flute.

—Wednesday, March 27: Mary-Marie Deauclaire featuring her students and a guest vocalist.

Maundy Thursday

The service on March 28 will begin at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. The service will feature the drama “As Through a Glass Darkly,” written by congregation member Michael Reitz.

Easter Sunday

The 9 a.m. Sunday school hour will feature games for kids and their families in Wesley Fellowship Hall. The Easter worship service will start at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary and will be followed by an egg hunt (bring your baskets) on the front lawn.
