Doughty Valley 4-H Club installs new officers

The recent meeting of the Doughty Valley 4-H Club finished with the installation of officers ceremony.

                        

Doughty Valley 4-H Club met April 15 at 7 p.m., with the meeting called to order by President Maddie Scheetz. Pledges were led by Hayden Sheldon and Travis Jamison, Hunter Scheetz gave the treasurer’s report, and Dahlia Sommers read the secretary’s report and did roll call with 38 members present.

Demonstrations were done by Hayden Sheldon, Dahlia Sommers, Ana Turner, Dextin Turner and Greysen Uhl. New business concerned the QA date, 4-H camp registration, the club’s upcoming fundraiser and information about the County Home meeting/petting zoo coming up in June.

The meeting finished up with the installation of officers ceremony. Installed were President Maddie Scheetz, Vice President Hailey Richert, secretary/news reporter Dahlia Sommers, treasurer Hunter Scheetz, chaplain Ellie Schafer, health representative Greysen Uhl, safety representative Cambree Garver, recreation representatives Melina Faunce and Dextin Turner, and historian/photographer Ella Troyer and Harper Lint.

The meeting was adjourned by Taylor Jamison and Garrett Sampsel. Refreshments were provided by Ana and Dextin Turner.
