The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle, America’s oldest continuous book club, will meet on Thursday, Sept. 29 at noon to discuss “Kent State” by Deborah Wiles, which is the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition’s 2022 One Book One Community selection.

If weather permits, the group will meet at the top of Deis Hill Park. In case of inclement weather, the book club will meet in the community room at the library, located at 525 N. Walnut St.

Call the library at 330-343-6123 to request a copy of this month’s title. For October, the group will read and discuss “Matterhorn” by Karl Marlantes.
