Torchbearers of BSP meet
                        

Torchbearer Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority met at Red Lobster Restaurant in Wooster on Nov. 3 with members answering roll call with what they will serve for Thanksgiving dinner.

The rainy days for October were eight days with members paying a quarter for the days it rained, which came to $2 each.

Valerie Lippert read the BSP moment, which came from the Book of BSP on Degrees, while Dee Carter read the Torch moment about Carlynn O’Niel from California and the ways she joined BSP.

Jan Wagner gave the treasurer’s report. There was a donation to Salvation Army Coats for Kids. Carter brought the raffle gift with each member in attendance getting a chance, and Carter won the gift she brought.

Susan Bates talked about the T.G. Social at the Carters’, and members signed up for what they will bring for the dinner. Bates also said the December meeting will be dinner at TJ’s in Wooster.

President Kathy Martin will take care of Operation Christmas Box Shoebox and get it packed and to the Methodist Church in Smithville for shipping.

Dee Carter gave the program that was prepared by a BSP sister in Alabama.

A motion for members to keep the gift exchange the same as other years, with the exception of two members who will exchange gifts at the December meeting, was made. The husbands will exchange names at the T.G. dinner and then exchange gifts at the December social, which they will open there.
