Back to School Program signups begin July 7
Although the summer is just getting started, The Salvation Army Orrville-Maiwurm Service Center is preparing for next school year. On July 7 registration will open for the Back to School Program, providing free school supplies to students in preschool through 12th grade living in Orrville, Dalton, Marshallville, Kidron and North Lawrence. Registration will end Aug. 4.
Eligible students will receive basic school supplies based on the grade they will enter next fall. To register, bring the documents needed for a financial intake form including a photo ID, proof of address, proof of income, and either the SS cards, birth certificates or passports of every person in the household.
If your business or organization would like to support this program, the center is looking for community partners to run school supply collection drives during July.
