Ragersville Zion United Church of Christ awards scholarships
Ragersville Zion United Church of Christ awarded $3,500 in scholarships to Sydney Haas, Emily Palmer, Sydni Prysi, Lily Specht, Mason Steiner and Ella Yoder.
Haas received the Bill & Jane Jabs Scholarship and the Youth Scholarship. She is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Haas and is attending the University of Akron and majoring in nursing.
Palmer received the Karen Rohovsky Scholarship and the Doyle Schumaker Scholarship. She is the daughter of Steven and Amanda Wadsworth and is attending the University of Akron and majoring in primary teacher prep.
Prysi received the Bill & Jane Jabs Scholarship and the Doyle Schumaker Scholarship. She is the daughter of Loren and Mary Prysi and is majoring in mechanical engineering at Louisiana State University.
Specht received the Karen Rohovsky Scholarship and the Youth Scholarship. She is the daughter of Austin and Karen Specht and is attending Kent State Tuscarawas and majoring in early childhood education, pre-K to third grade.
Steiner received the Doyle Schumaker Scholarship. He is the son of Jeremy and Jamie Steiner, has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is working toward his CPA at Kent State University.
Yoder received the Neil Wise Scholarship, Bill & Jane Jabs Scholarship and the Mary Huprich Memorial Scholarship. She is the daughter of Matt and Meegan Yoder and is attending Kent State Tuscarawas and majoring in nursing.
