School House Winery will host an event to raise awareness for brain tumors called “Figuring It Out” on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 5 p.m. Proceeds from silent auction items and a percentage of sales will be donated to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital’s radiology department.

In June 2017 Jennifer Jagunic, one of the owners of School House Winery, was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor. Friends, family and the community rushed to her side to help with meals, errands and other types of support. Jagunic said it is time to give back to the community as a thank you.

“I wanted to give back in a way that helped other people going through the same thing I am while also showing the community gratitude,” Jagunic said. “Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital’s radiology department was the perfect fit for our donation since that was where my journey began.”

If you wish to donate silent auction items, call 330-602-9463.
