Wayne-Holmes Right to Life is now accepting registrants for its annual Pro-Life Oratory Contest. The contest is for sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school and involves a 5- to 7-minute speech on abortion, adoption, euthanasia or embryonic stem cell research from a pro-life perspective.

Speeches need not be memorized. Cash prizes of $100, $50 and $25 will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place finishers, respectively. The first-place winner will have the opportunity to compete at Ohio Right to Life’s statewide competition in April.

The local event is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Wayne County Public Library in Wooster. Students must be registered in advance.

Call/text Carrie at 313-399-7775 or email WayneHolmesRTL@yahoo.com for further details or to register.
