The Loudonville Public Library, located at 122 E. Main St. in Loudonville, announced its programs and activities for February, offering something for all ages.

The Winter Reading Challenge continues through Feb. 28. Adults can complete challenge cards for a chance to win a cozy prize basket while children and teens can complete five activities to enter a prize drawing. Prizes include four Ohio Theater tickets for children and a coffee mug with a gift card for teens.

Story time sessions for children age 2-5 will take place Tuesdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 10 a.m. These sessions include stories, songs, finger plays and crafts. Caregivers are required to attend, and younger siblings are welcome.

Craft lovers can tap into their creative side with Pinterest Power on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. or Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 10:30 a.m. Participants will create a Valentine gnome. Registration is required, and space is limited to 12 attendees per session.

Starting Thursday, Feb. 6, the library will offer Take & Make Friendship Bracelet kits for children and teens. Supplies are limited to 24 kits, available on a first come, first served basis with a limit of one per person.

Moms can have a relaxing evening with Moms’ Night Out on Monday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. The event includes crafting, snacks, and cheese and chocolate fountains. Meanwhile, children age 2 and up can participate in a program with the youth department. Registration is required, and space is limited to 20 adults.

On Thursday, Feb. 13 at 2:30 p.m., home-school families are invited to the Homeschool Hangout for a Valentine’s Waffle Bar and Bingo. This event provides an opportunity for home-school families to connect and do activities together.

Coffee & Conversations will take place Thursday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m., featuring adult coloring and puzzles.

Teens in seventh grade and older can attend the Teen Advisory Board meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m. This group provides opportunities to earn volunteer hours and help plan teen programs and materials.

The Adult Book Discussion group will meet Friday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. to discuss “The Children’s Blizzard” by Melanie Benjamin. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk. The meeting will take place in the Golden Center, and new members are always welcome.

Readers of all ages can join the Bring Your Own Book Club on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. Participants are encouraged to share their current reads and discover new recommendations from others.

On Thursday, Feb. 27 at 3:30 p.m., children and teens can participate in Tastes Around the World, where they will sample treats from various countries, learn about their origins and vote for their favorites. Registration is required, and space is limited to six children and six teens.
