More cases of COVID-19 in Tuscarawas County
The Tuscarawas County Health Department was notified March 31of more positive COVID-19 cases within Tuscarawas County, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 11.
One case is a 46-year-old female, and the other separate case is a 60-year-old male. Both cases are recovering at home and are believed to be cases of community spread.
The TCHD team is currently working to identify any close contacts of these cases who would require testing or monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19.TCHD will reach out directly to those individuals. To protect patient privacy, they will not release any additional personal information pertaining to these cases.
