Travel author shares how to explore Ohio and beyond
On Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m., the Dover Public Library will welcome author Brandy Gleason, who will share tips about how to explore Ohio and beyond. Gleason, an Ohio native, blogger and travel expert, will give her perspective on Amish Country when she shares her expertise about the Midwest and Ohio through storytelling and her books — “100 Things To Do in Ohio’s Amish Country,” “Midwest Road Trip Adventures” and “Midwest State Park Adventures.” A book signing will follow the program.
“As residents of Tuscarawas County, we sometimes take for granted the unique beauty of the people and places around us,” said Sherrel Rieger, program specialist at Dover Public Library. “Brandy will definitely reignite our interest in exploring our own area.”
Gleason is a social media coordinator and content creator and a travel writer and published author. She shares her expertise at www.Travelawaits.com and is an ambassador for THOR and Heartland RVs. She lives with her husband and family in rural Ohio and manages her own company, Gleason Media LLC.
This program will be held in the community room at the DPL, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123.
