Dover Library features historical 3D models
The collection, previously shown in 2024, includes a model of St. Mark's Square.
The Dover Public Library is featuring 3D historical models by Don Giammo in its adult department display case throughout May. Giammo’s models depict various historical sites, with a focus on Rome, Italy.
The collection, previously shown in 2024, now includes a new model of the Vatican, which has recently been in the news due to the papal conclave.
“I am honored Mr. Giammo chose to display his work again with us, and the fact it has ties to current events makes it even more special,” said Steven Shroyer, a Dover Public Library employee who oversees the display cases.
The library encourages community members with personal collections to contact staff about display opportunities.
