Orrville Salvation Army to hold Discover Day
The Orrville Salvation Army-Maiwurm Service Center’s Discover Day will be Saturday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 401 W. High St. in Orrville.
Are you curious about what goes on inside the doors of an active food pantry? Do you know how the Orrville Salvation Army impacts the local community? How does the Orrville Salvation Army and the Orrville Area United Way partner together? Have you ever thought about volunteering with the Salvation Army?
You can get answers to these questions and more at the Orrville Salvation Army-Maiwurm Service Center’s Discover Day on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 401 W. High St. in Orrville. This is an open house style event with free food, games for kids, prizes and a tour of the Orrville Salvation Army building and services.
All activities will be held in the parking lot behind the building for the safety of the children. Parking is available at Orr Park and west of the building along Ella Street in the dog park lot. Call the office at 330-683-3138 with any questions.
