Save & Serve Thrift Shop raised $3,920 for local organization OneEighty at a special benefit day held March 30.

During the event, 100% of store sales were donated to OneEighty, which provides services to individuals recovering from substance abuse, mental health challenges, domestic violence and sexual assault.

The donation is part of Save & Serve’s ongoing initiative to benefit the local community. Eric Raber, Save & Serve general manager, said OneEighty’s programs address shared concerns that are worthy of support.

“OneEighty is making a difference in our community by bringing hope to those in dire need of help,” he said. “We are thankful to our volunteers and customers who make our support for organizations such as this possible.”

Save & Serve’s next community benefit day will be held Saturday, June 29 with 100% of sales supporting Love INC of Greater Holmes County.

Save & Serve is a nonprofit thrift store in Holmes County that supports the local and global relief, development and peace projects of the Mennonite Central Committee.
