West Holmes senior Kaylin Martin earned a First Team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference nod in girls soccer.

                        

The Ohio Cardinal Conference doled out its year-end awards in volleyball and boys and girls soccer, and West Holmes celebrated several athletes who found their way into postseason awards.

In girls soccer, Lady Knight senior Kaylin Martin earned First Team All-OCC honors while fellow senior keeper Morgan Stephenson was named to the Second Team.

Honorable-mention status went to Lady Knights Katrina Rolince and Liberty Arnold, two more West Holmes seniors.

The OCC Offensive Player of the Year went to Madison junior Taylor Huff, the Defensive Player of the Year was awarded to Ashland senior Paige Swanson and Arrows coach Dave Zimmerly was named Coach of the Year.

The Knights boys team saw keeper Brendon Yoder earn First Team honors while honorable-mention nods were given to senior Tyler Masters and junior Jackson Oliver.

Lexington, which was perfect in league play, swept the three major honors. Junior Ryan Parker was Offensive Player of the Year, Mason Bishak was named Defensive Player of the Year and head coach Peter Them was named Coach of the Year.

In volleyball West Holmes placed junior Megan Jones on First Team, senior Nadia Rouse earned Second Team honors, and sophomore Harmony Mast and junior Lauren Jones both received honorable-mention nods.

OCC Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Ashland junior Karli Shepherd while the Defensive Player of the Year award went to Cassidy Sims of Wooster. The Coach of the Year was Jen Snowbarger of Wooster.
