Author to recount tale of forgiveness
Becki Reiser is the author of the book, “Through My Tears: Awash in Forgiveness,” a story of the tragic murder of her daughter.
The Tuscarawas County Writers’ Guild will host local author Becki Reiser at its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Reiser is the author of the book, “Through My Tears: Awash in Forgiveness,” a story of the tragic murder of her daughter. The public is invited to attend to hear about the process of writing and about her personal journey of forgiveness.
As well as hearing from the speaker, members can share their 1,000-word October writing prompt, “If I hadn’t spent the extra money on the better coffin, maybe somebody could hear me scream now.”
The guild meets at 7 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts at 461 Robinson Drive SE in New Philadelphia.
