Board member sought at NJC
This position involves working alongside TuscParks to create and implement projects to enhance the Norma Johnson Center.
The Norma Johnson Center is seeking volunteers to serve on its foundation board. The center encompasses 303 acres with several hiking trails, ponds and a bird-viewing area. Located on Old 39 between Dover and Sugarcreek, the NJC is part of TuscParks and is open free to the public seven days a week.
This position involves working alongside TuscParks to create and implement projects to enhance the Norma Johnson Center, assisting with acquiring potential funding sources, and helping at NJC events. Applicants must be 18 or older.
Board member terms run for three years. The board meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Norma Johnson Center.
