Farmers market now open at city park
The Dover Farmers Market 2024 season began Thursday, July 11 and will end Thursday, Sept. 26. Hours are every Thursday from 7:30-10:30 a.m. at the Dover City Park near Field #1.
Vendor Information
Local gardeners are encouraged to bring home-grown produce, flowers or plants, fruits and berries, honey, homemade jams and jellies (properly label with name, address and phone number or person who made the product), and a display table.
Electricity is not provided. There is no setup charge at the market, and registration is not required.
Items that are not permitted to be sold at the market are cream-filled pies, custard pies, pumpkin pies, processed fresh or frozen meats, home-canned food items, and live animals.
Vendors and shoppers will have access to the park restrooms, drinking fountains and a lot of green grass. The closest restroom is located near the tennis courts. Drinking fountains and refuse receptacles are located throughout the park.
At the conclusion of each market day, vendors are asked to do the following:
—Clean your area of all debris and place in provided refuse receptacle.
—Exit the park at the North Wooster Avenue/23rd Street traffic light or at the exit near the bend in the park road.
