Lions to host Halloween parade in downtown Dover
The Dover Lions Club will host the annual community Halloween parade Wednesday, Oct. 27 through downtown Dover.
At least six Tuscarawas County high school bands will participate in the parade marching in Halloween costumes. After the parade, the bands will perform songs downtown in front of the reviewing stand.
The parade will step off at 6:45 p.m. All floats and entries are allowed to pass out candy and trinkets to spectators. Businesses and clubs who wish to participate in the parade may fill out a registration form on line at e-clubhouse.org/sites/doveroh then click on Halloween Parade Application or stop in at Dover City Hall to fill out a hard copy, which can be mailed to Jim Gibb 825 N. Walnut St. Dover, OH 44622.
The Lions meet thesecond and fourth Thursdays of each month at Buehler’s Fresh Foods 3000 N. Wooster Ave. Dover. New members are welcome. The Lions Club is a state, national and international organization focused on serving community.
