The Lake and Land Festival will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atwood Lake Park, 9500 Lakeview Road NE, Mineral City.

The Lake and Land Festival is a one-day celebration organized through a partnership among Rural Action, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, Carroll and Harrison Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and the Army Corps of Engineers.

The event will help grow environmental awareness through hands-on educational activities that will engage visitors of all ages. Participants will learn about watersheds, wildlife and boat safety.

There will be family-friendly activities throughout the day including opportunities to kayak and fish at no cost.

A pontoon boat tour of the Atwood Reservoir and Dam and visits by mascots and characters ensure the day will be full of activities.

Entrance to the festival is free. Parking is free with a voucher and $10 per carload (normal Atwood Lake Park entrance charge) without a voucher.

For details or a voucher, call 330-859-1050 or visit www.carrollswcd.org/lake&land.
