Local history librarian Kim Jurkovic will introduce a brochure called “Walking Tour of Dover, Ohio” at a presentation in the community room of the Dover Public Library on Monday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m.

The walking tour is a self-guided tour through the city of Dover, following a map and numbered locations.

“The walking tour encompasses quite a large area of Dover, but with the way it is set up, participants can take the entire walk or do it in segments by simply following the numbers,” Jurkovic said.

At the presentation Jurkovic will introduce each of the 28 places in the brochure and give the history and reasons she included them in the walking tour. Those attending the program will receive the brochure, and the brochure will be available at the Dover Public Library following the program. The brochure has information on each of the historic stops along the route, but it also includes a QR code for more detailed information on each place.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123.
