Orrville Community Theater and the Kidron Community Historical Society will present “A Christmas Carol — A Live Radio Play” Dec. 9-11.

Directed by Christa Wolfe, three shows will be held at Sonnenberg Village, 14397 Hackett Road, Apple Creek. The Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 shows will be at 7 p.m., and the Sunday, Dec. 11 show will be at 2:30 p.m.

The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. A handful of actors will bring dozens of characters to the stage as the familiar story unfolds.

Tickets are available at www.OrrvilleCommunityTheater.org or EventBrite at www.eventbrite.com/cc/a-christmas-carol-1376359 or by calling 330-466-7439. Tickets are $10 in advance on the OCT website or EventBrite, $26 for individual three-day tickets, $36 for family four-packs (OCT website only) and $55 for a family max pack — parents and minor children from same household — available only by calling for reservations. Tickets will be $12 at the door if still available each day.
