Incidents The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of fraud that occurred at a residence on TR 506 in Ripley Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a protection order violation at a residence on SR 226 in Washington Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang up call from a residence on N. Main Street in Killbuck. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received an animal complaint at a residence on TR 20 in Richland Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of domestic violence at a residence on CR 58 in Mechanic Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on SR 39 in Hardy Township. Accidents The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two-vehicle injury accident on US 62 in Paint Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle vs. animal non-injury accident on CR 77 in Salt Creek Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled this report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle vs. deer non-injury accident on SR 514 in Ripley Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle vs. fence non-injury accident on TR 417 in Walnut Creek Township. The Ohio Highway Patrol handled the report. Arrests Robert Scott Huy, 25, of Shreve, was arrested by The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle, driving under suspension and driving without a valid license. He remains incarcerated at the Holmes County Jail. Gregory Allan Harris, 54, of Etna, was arrested by The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for theft. He remains incarcerated on a $7,500 cash or surety bond. Michael Eugene Garretson, 23, of Shreve, was arrested by The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear. He remains incarcerated on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
