Galen Burkholder to speak at Mennonite Christian Assembly

                        
Galen Burkholder will speak at the Mennonite Christian Assembly’s annual missions conference Oct. 25–27. Conference times for Sunday, Oct. 25, are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 26-27.
Burkholder is international director of Global Disciples, a ministry that assists clusters of congregations around the world to develop their own, locally sustainable patterns of training disciples to reach others, sending their workers to plant churches in unreached areas and equipping Christ-like leaders. Currently, Global Disciples serves approximately 170 groups of churches in about 40 countries. Prior to establishing Global Disciples in 1996, Burkholder served for 12 years as director of the YES program and was discipleship ministries director with Eastern Mennonite Missions. Previously he was the youth and young adult director for Lancaster Conference. Burkholder lives in Landisville, Pa. with his wife, Marie, and attends Mountville Mennonite Church. He is a graduate of Hesston and Bethel colleges in Kansas and Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Virginia. For information, call 330-674-2471.
