Lexi Troyer of Sugarcreek has been recognized as an Outstanding Student at Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute. She will graduate May 3 with an Associate of Science in Animal Sciences, specializing in animal bioscience.

Troyer has earned numerous scholarships during her time at Ohio State ATI. She has served as a student ambassador for the admissions office, an orientation leader and a resident adviser.

Her leadership extends to her roles in several student organizations including the ATI Hoof-n-Hide Club and the Pre-Vet Club. She also is an active member of the Agricultural Systems Management Club and the Agricultural Communicators, Educators and Leaders of Tomorrow club.

In 2024 Troyer was selected to attend the Agriculture Future of America conference in Kansas City, a national gathering of agricultural students.

After graduation she will continue her studies at the Ohio State Columbus campus to complete a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Her goal is to become a veterinarian.

Ohio State ATI is located in Wooster and is part of the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The institute offers associate degree programs that align with Ohio State’s land grant mission, preparing students for direct employment or further education.
