West Holmes FFA members plan fall activities

On Sept. 14, the West Holmes FFA chapter held their monthly meeting at Acres Of Fun. During the business portion of the meeting, the FFA voted to have the chapter pay for hotel registration and bus fees for the national convention, to help with the fifth-grade farm tour on Sept. 30, hold the October meeting at the Bunch’s house, cover supplies for the October meeting, participate in the fruit and nut sale as a fundraiser, participate in the antique festival parade, buy recommended T-shirt and sweatshirt designs, find a speaker for Greenhand initiation, and voted that each member wishing to attend the national convention pay a $75 deposit. After adjourning, the FFA members ate pizza, played games and visited with other members.
