YMCA was host to league meet
Gymnasts competed from six teams including Ashland, Cambridge, North Canton, Riverfront, Tuscarawas and Wayne County.
The Tuscarawas County YMCA hosted a NEO compulsory Gymnastics League meet recently for level two, three, four and five teams. One-hundred-thirty gymnasts competed from six teams including Ashland, Cambridge, North Canton, Riverfront, Tuscarawas and Wayne County.
High scorers from the home team were Lily Endrich and Arli Waller (level three) and Vivian Denney and Rebekah Klaserner (level four).
Tuscarawas County gymnasts who were awarded first places were Denney in bars, Pressley Piccin in bars, Waller in floor, Endrich in floor and all around, and Norelyz Duent in floor.
Local gymnasts scoring a 9.0 or better on individual events were Endrich in vault (9.0) and floor (9.45), Waller in floor (9.55), Duent in floor (9.3), Denney in floor (9.3), Klaserner in floor (9.1), Layla Porter in floor (9.1), Aria Sanner in floor (9.1), and Anna Bonvechio in floor (9.05).
Other individual awards went as follows:
Level four
—Denney: first in bars and all around, third in floor, and fourth in beam.
—Klaserner: third in vault and all around, fourth in floor, and fifth in bars and beam.
—Kendall Geers: second in beam, fourth in vault, fifth all around and sixth in floor.
—Lorelei Cunningham: second in vault and sixth in bars, beam and all around.
—Bonvechio: third in floor and fifth in bars and beam.
—Piccin: first in bars and sixth in vault.
—Porter: sixth in vault and floor.
—Sanner: second in floor, fourth in beam and fifth in vault.
—Gracyn Beaber: sixth in floor.
—Kinsley McDonald: fifth in bars and floor.
Level three
—Endrich: first in floor and all around, second in beam, and third in vault and bars.
—Waller: first in floor, second in bars and all around, fourth in beam, and fifth in vault.
—Duent: first in floor, third in vault, fourth all around, and fifth in bars and beam.
—Jaylee Lute: second in beam, fifth in floor, and sixth in vault, bars and all around.
—Alyse Mello: second in vault, third in floor and sixth in beam.
—Presley Lute: third in vault.
—Penelope Endrich: fifth in beam and sixth in floor.
—Jillian Legg: sixth in floor.
—Elizabeth Brantley: fifth in floor.
