Libraries to host fall events throughout October
The Tuscarawas County Library System will host fall festivals throughout the month of October.
“Each location will have their own fun event, so customers are able to choose whichever event works best for their family,” said Brian Herzog, county library’s assistant director. “Depending upon which events you choose to attend, activities will include a chance to dress up, complete crafts, play games or enjoy some special treats.”
Upcoming fall events include the following:
—Bolivar Fall Festival on Oct. 8 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Bolivar Branch Library, 455 W. Water St., Bolivar. Join them for the third annual glow-in-the-dark game room, crafts and snacks. Costumes are welcome.
—Fall Fun on Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Main Library, 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia. Come for fall-themed crafts and activities.
—Art and Apple Cider on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Main Library.
—Trick or Treat at the Library on Oct. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Main Library. Walk along the pumpkin trail for candy, crafts and activities.
—Trick or Treat in Tusky on Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Tuscarawas Branch Library, 209 S. Main St., Tuscarawas. Stop at the library during trick or treat for some treats.
—Trick or Treat in Strasburg on Oct. 31 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Strasburg Branch Library, 356 Fifth St. SW, Strasburg. Stop by the library for a craft, hot chocolate and candy during the community trick or treat.
