SR 800 opens week early
State Route 800 reopened to traffic Monday, Aug. 2 north of Mineral City, seven days ahead of schedule.
State Route 800 reopened to traffic on Monday, Aug. 2 north of Mineral City, seven days ahead of schedule. This closure was part of the ongoing major rehabilitation project that began in June and the final closure for 2021.
The contractor will now begin placing the final course of asphalt between Dover and the Stark County line. During this work, traffic will be maintained via flaggers.
Next summer state Route 800 will close from the north end of Mineral City to the state Route 800/state Route 183 intersection. The exact dates for this closure are to be determined.
The completion date for this project is October 2022.
