OBITUARY

                        
Ferman Snyder Ferman Snyder, 91, of Sugarcreek, died Jan. 5, 2010, at Park Village Assisted Living, Dover. Ferman was born March 6, 1918, in Holmes County, to the late Daniel and Clara Snyder. He retired from Sugarcreek Heating and Cooling and was a member of First United Church of Christ, Sugarcreek, and Sugarcreek American Legion Homer Weiss Post 494. He was a WWII Army veteran, having served at the Battle of the Bugle. Surviving are a daughter, Ginger (John) McClain of Coshocton; son, Terry Snyder of Sugarcreek; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Loyal Snyder of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena E. Snyder, whom he married in 1946; sisters, Vera Kohler and Velma Troyer; brothers, A.P. Snyder and Garrison Snyder; and an infant daughter. Services were held Jan. 8, 2010, at Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek, with Rev. Anissa Bacon officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
